8-1-03 GOGEBIC COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT

CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL spent some time at the local Sheriff Department, introducing themselves and explaining their mission.


8-5-03 DICKINSON COUNTY

While visiting the Iron Mountain area, CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL spent time with City Police Chief Peter Flaminio as well as the Dickinson County Sheriff Department.


8-8-03 VIBE@5, MICHIGAN THEATRE AND AMPHITHEATER


After returning from their goodwill mission, CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL were back to their regular duties in Jackson.

First, the duo patrolled the downtown area during the performance of the celtic band PUB DOMAIN, which was held at Bucky Harris Park. Afterward, CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL worked at The Michigan Theatre while CAPTAIN JACKSON patrolled the perimeter of the new amphitheater near the CMS Energy building.


8-9-03 ALBION NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PICNIC

For the third time in as many years, The CRIMEFIGHTER CORPS were the invited guest speakers at the fourth annual Public Safety picnic. CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL were on hand and gave speeches about their mission and how local citizens can help make a difference in the prevention of crime.


8-14-03 DOWNTOWN PATROL

CAPTAIN JACKSON was on hand at The Michigan Theatre to work security for the 900+ women in attendance for Foote Hospital`s PASSAGES group free program and movie. Along with two security guards from Foote Hospital, The Captain patrolled the parking lots during and after the film to make certain all the women made it safety.

Unfortunately, during the performance, a woman`s car was stolen and both the Foote security guards and the Captain had to wait for the police to made the report and her to get a ride home. She did learn a valuable lesson that night. NEVER leave your car unlocked and NEVER leave your keys under the floor mat!


8-15-03 VIBE@5, MICHIGAN THEATRE AND AMPHITHEATER

CAPTAIN JACKSON had a busy night patrolling the downtown area during both conerts, as well as the Michigan Theatre.


8-16-03 BACHELOR PARTY

CAPTAIN JACKSON was one of the guests at Scott Clow`s bachelor party.


8-19-03 BUILDING COMMITTEE MEETING

CAPTAIN JACKSON was on hand to attend the meeting. Later, he patrolled the streets of downtown Jackson.


8-21-03 CRUISE NIGHT, MICHIGAN THEATRE AND AMPHITHEATER

CAPTAIN JACKSON, CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL and The QUEEN of HEARTS spent a busy evening downtown. While CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL and her friend Jacob Freese worked mostly at the Michigan Theatre, The QUEEN of HEARTS primarily worked downtown. CAPTAIN JACKSON spent the evening covering both locations, as well as the Amphitheater.


8-22-03 MICHIGAN THEATRE

CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL were on hand to provide security for the theater during the performance of the play POPEYE.


8-29-03 AMPHITHEATER CONCERT

CAPTAIN JACKSON was on hand to provide security for the last outdoor concert of the season. During the show, the band introduced the Captain, who received a standing ovation for his crime fighting. Later, while making his rounds, the band at the Crazy Cowboy once again sang their "Captain Jackson" song.


9-1-03 MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY TELETHON

CAPTAIN JACKSON and The QUEEN of HEARTS joined many other volunteers including local MDA representatives Brian Kelly, Vickie Whitney and Robert Dorogi, at the Belle Notte for the annual telethon. The national event was a big success, bring in over $60 million for the cause.


9-4-03 DOWNTOWN PATROL, MICHIGAN THEATRE AND NEW TRIBES INTERVIEW

CAPTAIN JACKSON began the evening patrolling the streets of downtown Jackson. From there it was to the Michigan Theatre to offer his volunteer services. As attendance was very low, he continued his patrol work.

Returning to the theater, the Captain had a very lengthy in-depth video interview with representatives from New Tribes Bible Institute. Afterward, he helped secure the theater and continued his street patrol.


9-6-03 HERMAN`S HERMITS

CAPTAIN JACKSON, CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL and The QUEEN of HEARTS were on hand to work security at the Michigan Theatre for Peter Noone and Herman`s Hermits.

The trio began their evening by visiting with "Nooneicans"---fans of Peter and the group who travel all over the country to see the band`s performances at different locations---at Bella Notte`. From that point it was on to the Michigan to work their various volunteer tasks.

The QUEEN of HEARTS greeted patrons while CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL worked back stage to ensure the safety of this world renouned musical group. During that time, CAPTAIN JACKSON patrolled the streets of Jackson to make certain no patrons automobiles were molested. After the performance, the three crime fighters ensured the safety of Peter Noone as he signed autographs in the theater lobby.

Later, The CRIMEFIGHTER CORPS visited the Crazy Cowboy to meet with the local band LEGEND and share a photo shoot with mutual fans.


9-13-03 DOWNTOWN PATROL AND MICHIGAN THEATRE

CAPTAIN JACKSON spent the evening patrolling the downtown district as well as helping out at the theater.


9-16-03 JAIL OPEN HOUSE AND DOWNTOWN PATROL

CAPTAIN JACKSON and The QUEEN of HEARTS were on hand for the new Chanter road jail facility open house. They had the opportunity to tour the entire complex and CAPTAIN JACKSON even was the winner of a Jackson County Sheriff Department coffee mug!

Later, the duo patrolled the downtown district.

CAPTAIN JACKSON spent the evening patrolling the downtown district as well as helping out at the theater.

9-24-03 THE RED, WHITE AND BLUE SHOW AT THE MICHIGAN

CAPTAIN JACKSON was on hand to provide security for the concert which featured Tim Brake and The Country Rascals, Frog & The Beeftones and The Fab Four. During the program, he also patrolled the streets of the downtown district.

After the show, Tim Brake and members of his crew thanked the Captain for his work during the concert.


9-28-03 L`IL ABNER CAST PARTY AND G1N INTERVIEW

The afternoon began with CAPTAIN JACKSON and The QUEEN of HEARTS meeting "CJ" and Liz from Global 1 Network for an interview which included a tour of The Michigan Theatre, and walk around the downtown district to see where The CRIMEFIGHTER CORPS spends most of their local patrol time.

Later, The duo attended the L`il Abner/Popeye cast party held at The Michigan Theatre during which CAPTAIN JACKSON received an ovation for his cameo appearances in the L`il Abner play.


10-1-03 DOWNTOWN PATROL

CAPTAIN JACKSON spent the afternoon patrolling the downtown district, during which time he stopped to pick up a prize he had won earlier on The Bart Hawley Show.


10-3-03 DOWNTOWN PATROL AND MICHIGAN THEATRE

CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL took turns volunteering at the Michigan Theatre and patrolling the area.


10-4-03 DOWNTOWN PATROL AND MICHIGAN THEATRE

CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL took turns volunteering at the Michigan Theatre and patrolling the area. While doing bar checks, CAPTAIN JACKSON stopped by The Office Bar where the band The Persuaders was performing. They even sang their "Captain Jackson" song.


10-6-03 JSO MOVIE

CAPTAIN JACKSON greeted patrons at The Michigan Theatre for the Jackson Symphony Orchestra movie presentation. Afterward, he patrolled the streets of downtown.


10-10-03 URBAN ARTS FESTIVAL

CAPTAIN JACKSON and The QUEEN of HEARTS were kept busy patrolling the area downtown area during the canceled concert. During that time, CAPTAIN JACKSON saw to it that an intoxicant who was harassing local residents was arrested.


10-11-03 URBAN ARTS FESTIVAL

CAPTAIN JACKSON and The QUEEN of HEARTS spent most of the day and evening hours patrolling the area keeping the peace. With only a few minor incidents (including CAPTAIN JACKSON setting off the alarm at Sherry`s Furs while checking doors) to report to the authorities, it was a very safe event for all.


10-16-03 DOWNTOWN PATROL AND INTERVIEW

CAPTAIN JACKSON patrolled the downtown area, during which he met with JCC student Jordon Taylor at The Michigan Theatre for an interview.


10-18-03 MICHIGAN THEATRE AND DOWNTOWN PATROL

CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL spent time volunteering at The Michigan for the Haunted Theatre, and took turns patrolling the downtown district.


10-22-03 SCARECROW ROW DROP-OFF

For the second year in a row, The CRIMEFIGHTER CORPS (with the sponsorship of The Michigan Theatre) are participating in the Downtown Development Authority`s SCARECROW ROW. This year their entry was a very life-like copy of The QUEEN of HEARTS, who herself dropped off the scarecrow in the early morning hours.


10-23-03 MICHIGAN THEATRE AND DOWNTOWN PATROL

CAPTAIN JACKSON was on duty to volunteer at the Michigan for The Theatre that Dripped Blood, Part IV, as well as patrol the downtown district during the evening.

10-25-03 TOYS FOR TOTS

The CRIMEFIGHTER CORPS were on hand to participate at the Fourth Annual Coldwell-Banker Toys for Tots donation party. It was a great success with many people contributing to this great cause.


10-25-03 MICHIGAN THEATRE AND DOWNTOWN PATROL

The CRIMEFIGHTER CORPS was on hand to help with security at The Michigan Theatre for "The Theatre that Dripped Blood, Part IV", during which CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL actually dressed up as a Monster to scare patrons!

The evening at the Michigan was a success and the streets of Jackson were very peaceful!


10-28-03 TRY TRANSIT WEEK

CAPTAIN JACKSON was on hand to greet patrons at the downtown bus depot for the Jackson Transportation Authority`s annual event. Later, he patrolled the streets of Jackson.

The QUEEN of HEARTS was on hand to greet patrons at the downtown bus depot for the Jackson Transportation Authority`s annual event. Later, she patrolled the streets of Jackson.

10-31-03 PRIVATE PARTY AND DOWNTOWN PATROL

CAPTAIN JACKSON attended the wedding reception of fellow Michigan Theatre volunteers George and Martha, as well as spent some time patrolling the streets of downtown Jackson.


11-5-03 BELLA NOTTE SECOND ANNIVERSARY

CAPTAIN JACKSON and The QUEEN of HEARTS were on hand to help Greg and Annette Walker celebrate the second anniversary of their downtown restaurant.


11-5-03 MICHIGAN THEATRE

CAPTAIN JACKSON and The QUEEN of HEARTS were on hand to both volunteer and attend the Jackson Human Rights Commission movie presentation. After the theater closed, both crime fighters patrolled the downtown district.


11-7-03 MICHIGAN THEATRE AND DOWNTOWN PATROL

CAPTAIN JACKSON was on hand at the Michigan Theatre as a "guest celebrity" to assist House Manager George Davis give away the hundreds of dollars of prizes before the showing of the movie SEABISCUIT in addition to spending time checking locks on local business doors.

CAPTAIN JACKSON was on hand at the Michigan to assist with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra movie feature and well as make his rounds protecting his district.


11-12-03 EVENING DOWNTOWN PATROL


11-15-03 MOVIE PREMIERE

CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL were on hand to help out during the World Premiere of the movie NEXT VICTIM, with was made by some people with local ties. Original TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE star Gunnar Hansen was also on hand and it was the duo`s duty to insure his safety, as well as make the evening a safe one for all.

During the two showings of the film, the pair took turns paroling the downtown area.


11-21-03 ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE

CAPTAIN JACKSON, CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL and The QUEEN of HEARTS were kept busy working with the local police agencies to make sure the annual event was a safe family event for all. Afterward, as the two ladies relaxed at the Michigan Theatre for the movie PIRATES IN THE CARIBBEAN, CAPTAIN JACKSON patroled the streets.

Later, The QUEEN of HEARTS spent time doing bar checks in the downtown district.


11-22-03 CABARET SHOW AT THE MICHIGAN

CAPTAIN JACKSON and CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL volunteered at The Michigan Theatre during the performance of the live show, "LIFE, a four letter word".

CRIMEFIGHTER GIRL was on duty to inspect her district as well as volunteer at the theater.


12-4-03 MICHIGAN THEATRE

CAPTAIN JACKSON volunteered at the theater as well as make his regular patrol rounds.


12-5-03 CHRISTMAS ON MECHANIC STREET

After winning, and picking up the prize he won on The Bart Hawley Show, CAPTAIN JACKSON headed to Mechanic street for the annual Christmas celebration. Working with City Police Officers, he patrolled the area to keep all attendees safe.

Later, he visited The Michigan Theatre to see if they could use any assistance.

After attending the monthly Michigan Theatre Building Committee meeting, CAPTAIN JACKSON stopped by the City Council meeting to wish the city officials a Merry Christmas.


12-18-03 THREE MEN AND A TENOR

CAPTAIN JACKSON was on hand to do his regular security work during the 3 Men & a Tenor concert at The Michigan Theatre. After the intermission, The Captain was asked to introduce the group to a crowd of over 600.
