I have been Crimefighter Girl since I was nine years old, and I am now fourteen. I have volunteered at so many places, and I have met so many people it amazes me.
I will never forget my first time at the Senior Center meeting Judy Wright, and Jan. There were so kind and sweet to me and they welcomed me into there families. The first time being at the Michigan Theatre was great. Every event at the theatre, every play, every movie, every band, has been great to attend and to work at. The people there are so outgoing and from the first time I went there, they have always made me want to come back.
Working at the DDA was fun because I was able to contribute time to helping them with CRUISE NIGHTS, Picnic in the Park, Vibe @5, flower planting and so many more things that I have grown to love. I had the chance to meet and work as a volunteer with former DDA Executive Director Kathleen Eriksen and the current one, Debi Weid, two wonderful and compassionate people whom I will never forget. And the bands downtown, especially SHOUT! have been a joy to watch.
As far as all the e-mails I`ve received, thank you everyone for your kind words and letters. I have enjoyed reading them throughout the years.
For the Queen of Hearts, I thank you so much, it makes me sad to think I will not ever be able to repay her for everything she has done for me and everything she has taught me. You have been there for me for so many things, whenever I needed you. To my dad, I thank you for being around and caring about me, and for listening and supporting me in everything I do. To my fans, I thank you for being the true heroes because without you believing in me, I could not be Crimefighter Girl.
So if the day ever comes when I`m no longer Crimefighter Girl, I want you all to know how much I appreciate everything you have done for me. If I can`t thank you then, I am thanking you all now.
